Murphy Landing Resort began operations in 1950; its current owners, John and Mary Uradnik, bought the resort in 1976. Today, Murphy Landing is one of the few remaining classic “Mom and Pop” fishing resorts in northern Minnesota, with eleven updated modern cabins (four of which sit back on a small hill).

The majority of guests at Murphy Landing have been coming to the resort for years. They appreciate the natural beauty of the Chippewa National Forest, the cleanliness of the cabins, the ample fish in the Wabana Chain of Lakes, and the undeniable charm of a family-oriented vacation destination where everyone is an old friend.
